The Daily Dish: Is Alcohol A Drug?
It’s interesting how we, as a country, separate alcohol, nicotine and “legal” drugs from marijuana. It has no rational basis. I think the real issue is that big pharma, alcohol producers and tobacco companies are much better at lobbying and getting favorable legislation passed than pot smokers. Maybe because marijuana is so easy to grow, there’s just not enough money in it for the competitors to take interest, plus they really, really don’t want the competition.
