Circumventing Competition: The Perverse Consequences of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
It’s not often when I find myself in complete agreement with the Cato Institute, but this is one of them. They present a clear and cogent critique of the unfortunate consequences of the ill-considered DMCA. I almost wrote “unintended consequences” in the last sentence, but the pernicious effects of the DMCA were anything but unintended.
