Change in voting patterns 2004-2008
This is interesting map from the NY Times Politics page showing the change in voting by county. The areas of growth for the GOP are limited to 22% of counties. The GOP is busy turning themselves into a regional party of Appalachia, parts of the Sunbelt and a few pockets scattered through the high plains and Rockies. Now there’s a leagcy for you.
