Moments ago I saw on CNN McCain telling his supporters that his campaign should be respectful, then the campaign releases this gem attacking Obama for saying that it’s easier to rile up a crowd than it is to talk about issues that are important to Americans.

So, let me get this straight. Their defending cries of “terrorist” and “kill him” moments after the candidate promises a respectful campaign? He doesn’t seem to have control over his own campaign and we’re supposed to trust him to run the government. John would be better served by showing some class losing gracefully. What happened to John McCain? Is he so blinded by his own ambitions that he does care about his own honor. The kinest interpretation is that the Rove proteges running the campaign are ignoring his wishes. If so he should fire their sorry asses, yesterday would have been good.
